Do you indicate your prices excluding VAT or with VAT?

If your delivery address is within the EU, all prices will include VAT. If your delivery address is outside of the EU, all prices will be free from VAT.

How can I place an order on La Belle Mèche?

To order a scented candle or an Apothicaire essential oils candle you just need to add your candle into your shopping cart. Once your shopping cart is completed, you must create a customer account by entering your email address and create a password. You will then simply have to fill in the requested information. You will also need to indicate your billing and delivery address. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation by mail.

How do I create a customer account ?

To join our community, simply click on "CONNECTION" at the top right. Enter your e-mail address and create a password. That’s it ! As simple as hello.  

I lost my password, what should I do?

No worries! Who has never lost a password? Go to "CONNECTION". In the "ALREADY REGISTERED" section, simply click on "Forgot your password?". You will receive an e-mail with a new temporary password. Return to your account to modify-it by clicking on "My personal information". 

Can I modify my La Belle Mèche account information online?

Of course! To place an order on our online store, you must create a customer account. Once you have created your La Belle Mèche customer account, simply go to "MY ACCOUNT" and then "My personal information". Nothing’s easier.  

How to earn loyalty points?

To earn loyalty points, simply make a purchase on labellemeche. com. Once your payment is accepted, your loyalty points are automatically added to your account. For example, the purchase of a candle offers you 3 loyalty points, which can be converted into a voucher of 0,60€, valid on your next order. Find your loyalty points in "My Account" then in the "My loyalty points" section.

How to use my loyalty points?

To use your points of loyalty, go to "My account" then in the section " My loyalty points" you simply convert them into a coupon by following the indications given. A custom code is then created. Go to your shopping cart to add your custom promotional code. 

How to use my promotional code?

Nothing could be easier: in your shopping cart, you just have to insert your code in the "VOUCHERS" section located just above the amount of your order. Please note that promotional codes are not always cumulative and are valid only once each.

What delivery option can I have?

For deliveries abroad, we work with Colissimo. We currently do not offer any other delivery options. 

What are the delivery times?

All orders are processed and shipped daily from 2pm onwards. Afterwards, it takes about 5 to 8 working days (depending on countries) to receive your scented candles, diffusers or essential oils in your mailbox.

How to track my delivery?

To follow your delivery, it's easy: after ordering, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number. This number allows you to track your delivery, in real time on  colissimo.fr website.

Can I take my order in La Belle Mèche shop in Lyon ?

Of course, if you are in Lyon ! You can past an order on our e-shop and come take your product in our Lyon's shop. The shop is located at 43 Rue Auguste Comte 69002 LYON

How to pay my order?

We accept credit card payments: Visa and Master Card.  You can also pay via Paypal

Where can I find the details of my order?

You can find all the details of your order and your previous orders, on your customer account in the section "Order history and details". To do this, click on "CONNEXION" on the right and save your e-mail address and password.

100% Made in France products?

All La Belle Mèche products are 100% Made in France, from wick to wax, perfume, label or even packaging! All step to manufacture La Belle Mèche candles are Made in France. We wanted a local production in order to be able to control the quality of our products. Thus, our scented candles, diffusers, essential oil candles and colored candles are entirely made in France.

Why did we choose Made in France?

Several reasons explain our Made in France approach:

human bond: we want to know our partners and establish a strong relationship with them over time, based on common values.

Proximity: it is always easier to control the quality of a production by being on site. We speak the same language and have the same culture. This proximity allows shortens production and delivery times.

Supporting the French economy: producing in France is also a partisan act. There are beautiful industries in the hexagon. Often carried by highly skilled people and long-established know-how. This is the case with the perfume industry, which is based in Grasse and has many talents. We want to know them, make them known and value them.

I have a problem with my order

What if my candle is broken?

We apologize if you receive your candle broken. We will send you a new candle. However, you must contact us beforehand at contact@labellemeche.com. We will ask you for several photos:

-       a photo of the broken candle in its packaging with wedge next to the parcel

-       a photo of the package and the padding

-       A photo of the package showing signs of damage (cuts? crushing?)

-       a photo of the package label

Not the right candle in my order?

We apologize for the inconvenience. Error is human... Please contact us at contact@labellemeche.com, we will send you back the right candle as soon as possible. We will also send you a free return slip to return the wrong candle. 

I don't have my order tracking number?

When you place an order on labellemeche. com, you will receive an e-mail "(LA BELLE MÈCHE) Delivery in progress". Your Colissimo tracking number is indicated in this e-mail. If you do not find this information in your e-mails, we are at your disposal by phone +33478602401 or by e-mail at contact@labellemeche.com. 

I still haven't received my order?

The international delivery time is generally between 5 and 8 working (depending on countries). If, after this period, you still didn’t receive your order, we invite you to follow your parcel on the site of Colissimo with your tracking number. Your tracking number is indicated in the e-mail "(LA BELLE MÈCHE) Delivery in progress". If you don’t get more information, please contact us at contact@labellemeche.com 

Our products

Quality of the candle:

All our candles are 100% vegetable wax and guaranteed GMO-free. Ecological, this wax doesn’t create black smoke by burning. Free from refined and derived vegetable materials, our wax is pesticides and herbicides-free. In addition, soya wax has low melting point, allowing long lasting combustion.

 

In addition, all the wicks of our candles are lead-free cotton guaranteed, thus offering you an irreproachable quality.

The scented candles are made with perfumes from Grasse, world capital of perfume.

My wax leaves traces on the glass, is that normal?

Absolutely !  Indeed, the wax that we use for our scented candles or candles with essential oils is 100% vegetable based on soy.

Unlike paraffin wax (a petroleum derivative), mostly used in candle industries, vegetable wax is fattier and can leave traces or deposits on the glass. 

My candle's bursting. What can we do about it?

You must burn your candle until all of your wax is liquid. From then on, you can extinguish your candle: you have the quintessence of perfume and your candle will re-solidify itself of a single block.

We recommend to burn your candle 1h30 to 2h, especially during the first use. This is very important and allows the entire surface to liquefy. Another tip to prevent your candle digs: before each new burning, cut and recenter your wick. 

I noticed bubbles on the surface of my candle. Is that normal?

Don't worry if you observe this phenomenon, it's perfectly normal. Vegetable wax is a "living" wax which, when poured, can catch air bubbles. These can come out when you light your candle.

I can't smell the perfume. What can we do about it?

Hum, very weird ! Indeed, the quality of the fragrances that we use, combined with the quality of vegetable wax, allows an excellent release of the perfume. Be sure to burn your candle at least 2 hours in a 20-25m2  room concerning 190g scented candles, especially during the first use. In addition, you must cut the wick before each burning to avoid soot emanation. We invite you to visit our "Tips for use" page. 

My candle is burning fast. What can we do about it?

We advise you to burn your candle by slices from 1h30 to 2h. Indeed, the candle burns very quickly as soon as all the wax is liquefied. To avoid wasting burning time, please, wait that wax cool down, before lighting your candle again.

Can I put a note in my order ?

Of course and with great pleasure! At La Belle Mèche, we love sweet words. Thus, we propose beautiful cards to offer. Leave your message at contact@labellemeche.com during your purchase. Your message will be handwritten by our care, with our finest handwriting. 

How to find a La Belle Mèche reseller?

Around 200 stores, concept stores or shop sell our scented candles, diffusers or our essential oil candles. To find your closest reseller, please, contact us at: contact@labellemeche.com,. our teams will be happy to answer quickly. 

I want a candle that's out of stock, what can I do?

Don't worry about it. Once connected, all you have to do is press the "NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE" button. You will be notified as soon as the candle comes back in stock. If you are not sign in. Simply enter your e-mail address in the “NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE” section. This section is present in all out-of-stock products.

We apologize for the out-of-stock condition. Sometimes the candles are very quickly victims to their success, but we restock quickly.
